My drawing of Low and the beautiful Nico!
“Street Hassle” and “Heroin” were the songs which introduced me to Lou Reed. In my opinion he is the Allan Poe of Rock and Roll. Everything he came up with, it just stuck in your head, cause it had truth in it. Also, there would be no punk without him.
I wanted to add some more shadows on their faces ’cause I have to plan and think about the print version of my drawing. The scanner usually doesn’t capture all the soft shadows well but I also wanted to avoid the shadows getting into that gray-ish tone. Plus, I wanted Nico to look angelic, so I left it at this.
